First wave of startups to pitch on May 7th in MeetDistrict

The last couple of months, we helped a variety of Flemish sport startups in developing their startup idea, product/market fit, technology set-up, business model, etc. during our SportUp Boost or Start programs. The Boost program is a pre-acceleration track of 3 months, whereas the Start program is the sportstech specific vertical of the well-known imec.istart accelerator. The startups are excited to present their work during the first meetup event focused on sports technology startups in Flanders!

The event will take place at MeetDistrict (Ghelamco Arena) and is open to everyone interested in sport startups in general, or the one in our programs in particular. Startups include Smart Mind, Whizzgolf, Winnovators & LedsReact. During the meetup, you´ll hear about their adventures, ambitions, concerns, etc. You´ll have the possibility to reach out to the entrepreneurs and connect with other like minded enthusiasts. You will also be informed about the whole set-up of SportUp and you will be able to ask any question about our programs, partnerships, upcoming actions, etc.

To end, Cronos and Sport Vlaanderen will present the creation of Panega Sports, the platform that is now being built to centralize, analyze and visualize (elite) sports data. Afterwards, there is of course time enough for networking & drinks.
